Chi Chi's Background

Chi Chi was a quadruple amputee Golden Retriever. Her courage, joy and ability to never give up enabled her to overcome the horrific beginning to her life.

Rescue Dog

Warning: The following is information about Chi Chi’s history and treatment that led to her amputations. Some of this information may be distressing to read.


Chi Chi was rescued in South Korea on January 5, 2016. The vets estimated that she was about 2 years old when she was rescued. Chi Chi was found in a trash bag in a well-known dog meat slaughter region of South Korea.
